- Raising awareness of nuclear export controls for the nuclear vendors

In order to ensuring an effective export controls in a state, regulatory authorities – normally licensing bodies – should make great efforts to raise the nuclear enterprise’s understanding on export control regulations. Trigger List items which are regulated by NSSC (Nuclear Safety and Security Commission) particularly,  have unique nature in their licensing requirements.

Therefore, nuclear vendors need to know their  responsibilities in their export business or transaction and the licensing authority’s outreach will help their understanding and eventually ensure a sound implementation of nuclear export control legislations.

In this context, KINAC(president, Young-Soo Hwang), the technical supporting   organization to the NSSC opened a consultation booth and provided information and various advisory services in export controls related issues for the participants who attended 2022 Busan International Nuclear Exhibition.
